Acapulco takes the Halifax and comunity around us very seriously, here are a few things we have done in the recent past.
Covid Drive in Movies
During the down-time of Covid, we sponsoered and helped do drive in movies at Eureka, Dean Clough and Playtopia which were free for NHS Workers and other key workers. The events went over and above just the normal drive in movies, and provided a welome bit of entertainment during the strangest of time. Working with Big TV this really gave entertainment for Halifax.
Sold our Carpet
We sold our carpet in sections and raised over £5000 for the Halifax Street Angels. Take a look at News paper Article Here.
Planted Tree's

Created a SEN Night.

Raised awareness for Vulnerable People of Halifax
We rasied awareness for vulnerable people in halifax in a effort to get Calderdale council to support these people and give them support, in the short term this has worked, in the long term, the council has been less proactive. New Paper Article Here.
Raymond and his Marathon
We helped Raymond run a Maration for the Rob Burrows Charity, in 2024, making it 5 decades in which he had run in a marathon. News Artile Here.
Chairty Nights and Donations
We have made a number of donations to local charitys.
Working with Police, Pubwatch and Council
We work with Halifax Pub Watch, working with Police, council and local MP's to make Halifax a Safe and Vibrant town for the night time economey. We have worked with these organisations and been a key part in winning and retaining the Purple Flag Status of the town.
Donation of Coats
Any coats which are left for more than 6 months are donated to chairty or given to homeless people, over the years wehave dontated thousands of coats.
Giving people a first chance
During the years we have given thousands of young people there first chance at employment, learning a great work ethic and amazing life skills. We have people working who's parents worked at the Acapulco, those parents wanting there children to learn life skills.
